HURRICANE IKE

This newsletter is a little late in arriving. As many know Hurricane, Ike hit our area in the middle of September. Much of Houston is still trying to recoup from the devastation. I am happy to report that the studio/office and manufacturing plant where the God's Word Collectible series is cast, as well as the foundry all fared well. We are very thankful, as still, just two doors down from the studio, a blue tarp covers the roof and less than a mile from the manufacturing plant they are trying to do major repairs from tornadoes that spun off the storm.

UNVEILING OF THE DICK HATHAWAY SCULPTURE[/b]

On September 25th the Sculpture of Professor Hathaway was unveiled. The placement of the sculpture is outside of the T.W. Wood Gallery in Montpelier Vermont.

It was a long journey to get Professor Hathaway home to Vermont. You can see the entire video documentation on the project through three videos.
Video One
Sculpting of Dick Hathaway

Video Two
The Foundry Process of the Dick Hathaway Memorial

Video Three
The Unveiling of The Dick Hathaway Memorial

IN LOVING MEMORY BABY JENNA

We also delivered the Baby Jenna sculpture to Main, where she will reside in her parent's home until the spring installation at her gravesite. Here is a video on utilizing new technology in creating baby Jenna.

GOD'S WORD COLLECTIBLES

INSPIRATIONS and GENERATIONS-Podcast

As promised, God's Word collectibles now sponsors a podcast. This is a podcast called Inspirations/Generations where three generations of Christian women share their thoughts about different issues and aspects of life. You can, of course, find the new podcasts at the God's Word Collectible website's online blog. Or, if you like you can subscribe to them in Itunes. The podcast is free.

There are approximately fourteen podcasts available for listening. Five of which consist of a very personal testimony between my mother and myself followed by reuniting owith a childhood friend, who, along with the prayers of a grandmother, touched my life, my mother's life, and many others through us. There are also lighter topics by all three generations of women such as, Godly Girlfriends, Accountability, In Celebration of Mothers, Stages, and Christmas Traditions. We are dedicated to putting up 3 podcasts a month. The response of some of our listeners is encouraging. We would love to hear from you as well.
GOD'S WORD FACEBOOK PAGE God's Word Collectibles now has a fans page on Facebook. Please visit us on Facebook and become a fan, and receive a discount on God's Word Collectible Sculptures.

YOUR CHILD IN A GOD'S WORD SCULPTURE.
I often use the images of real children in my sculptures. It makes them seem more personal and gives them life. If you would like your child to be considered for the upcoming piece, "The Lord is my shepherd" Please visit the God's Word website.

A wonderful Christmas and a very blessed New Year to you all.
