I am very fond of my pond, and of course the residents of the pond. ( see the post above this for more pond shots ) Tilly is my favorite. She showed up just a few years ago and decided to stay. She has had two clutches of babies and I entertained the idea of taking them out until they got bigger but hated to take them out of their habitat. None of the babies seemed to survive, or so I thought. One came up the other day, guess he had a great hiding spot. He has been in hiding for about 2 months. He seems to have made it. I only hope he sticks around. The little guys pictured here may be the little guy that is in there now, don’t know. I don’t have any recent pictures of the little guy, He is about 2 or 2 ˝ inches. This is my place of inspiration and a great place to meditate. But still is a work in progress.

Picture above my daughter and I at the upper pond, this is about 15 feet from the lower pond and there are two waterfalls between this. I wander the entire area in the morning looking for her, if she is not at the back door. This she has been doing quite a lot lately.

here is tilly coming down the waterfall, she kind of sounds like fiberglass falling. Kuthunk! Does not seem to bother her though.

Please note that this is not just tilly, but little guy is just below her, or at least first little guy.

Here they are again.

This is how I first got Tilly to eat from me. I found her eating the fish food that was caught in the left over spider webs.

My daughter took this last week of Tilly. That is the door and porch to my studio. I am so glad I have that porch I love it! A great place to turtle watch!
