Since the late 1940's through to today there is no one other than B.B. King that can be called the king of the Blues. B.B. King sat for Ms. Mongeon and the product was this wonderful autographed sculpture. When Mr. King saw he said, "No other artist has yet to capture such as likeness. It's strange to sit here looking at myself. It looks like it could speak."

The original sculpture is no longer owned by Willie Nelson but was included, with the rest of his portraits that were confiscated by the IRS, to pay his tax debt. The whereabouts of this original is unknown Truly an eclectic musian Mr. Nelson has contributed to more musical genres, such as, gospel, country, blues, jazz than any one else that may come to mind. His long colorful career and his yearly FarmAid concert makes him a historical icon in American culture.
