portrait of Bridgette MongeonMs. Mongeon has been a writer for fifteen years. She has written numerous articles for newspapers and magazines and has been a contributing writer on Mike de la Flor’s book The Digital Biomedical Illustration Handbook and Theresa Mancuso’s book Dog People Do it Better.

She enjoys writing about art, creativity, gardening, children, marketing, psychology and general human-interest stories. For a partial list of published works and links to some of Ms. Mongeon’s articles visist the Works Published part of this web site.

 

Sculptural Pursuits coverCurrent Writing Projects
She is presently completing a book titled Bringing to Life the Spirit of the Deceased- A Sculptor’s Journey that documents the process of creating posthumous commissions and the supernatural/spiritual and science behind some of the events that occur while doing so. The book is based on her research for her college thesis. Lectures on this subject have been presented at the TW Woods Gallery in Vermont along with Vermont College Union Institute. She is also writing and illustrating several children’s books and hopes to continue her education with an MFA in writing children's literature.

Ms. Mongeon is also a contributing writer to the Art of Business section of Sculptural Pursuits magazine.
